On Friday, June 2, Japanese social practice artist Yasuyo Tanaka and Japanese teacher Maki Fujita (both of them are based in New York) visited the Network State office. Tanaka shared her projects about harmony and peace and her future plans to run workshops in Armenia and globally. Fujita talked about her teaching experience and Japanese culture and history. Network State founder Vahram Ayvazyan talked about an urgent necessity of a civilizational transition and shared Network State’s civilizational projects, Cilicia project in particular. Network State Panarmenian Foundation’s director Ofelya Hakobyan talked about Network State’s organizational capabilities.
A decision was made to start an Armenian-Japanese cultural platform and connect philosophers, scientists, artists and spiritual people with each other. Furthermore, a workshop will be organized by the Network State when Yasuyo Tanaka visits Armenia next time.
The Network State will also engage the Armenian and Japanese diasporas in joint actions to raise global awareness about the repercussions of the Armenian Genocide and Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
